We leave San Pedro de Atacama and head into the open desert, leaving the oasis behind as we follow roads where the landscape becomes increasingly vast.

Our first stop is the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, a series of saltwater lagoons hidden in the desert. Their vivid shades of blue and green contrast with the white ground surrounding them.
Visitors can enter the water in one of the lagoons. Its high salt concentration allows the body to float naturally and effortlessly, creating a curious feeling of lightness that seems to slow time and connects you with the extreme environment around you.
